Ads for Content:

These ads are the most popular and should be included on your website. If you are not sure what they look like exactly, you will soon. They come in many various sizes, tall ones, long ones, skinny ones, square ones and more. There are whats called link units and ad units. If you want to display physical ad units you can do so, If you wan to just display text link units you can do so also. There are many options. Each type of ad product can be used very strategically to get the most revenue possible out of your viewer. Now this is just a quick overview of content. There are many lessons specificly just for AdSense for content which you can look at as your lesson progresses.

Ads For Search:

Google’s ad product for search is a two way plus. You for one, get to take advantage of Google’s searc technology by instantly getting a search engine added to your website, and second, you can monetize it. You can place ad units within the search resuts page, along the same lines as Google search currently functions. Hey, cant beat that, you get a search engine that you can monetize for free, and the user gets a bonus of being able to search your website extremely easily.

Ads For Feeds:

Talk about a well rounded line up of ad products. With ads for feeds you can include ads withn RSS feeds, or streams on your website. There was a time when this was not possible, luckily I vaguely remember what that was like. Google AdSense really allows you to monetize all aspects of your website to generate a very well rounded stream of income.

Ads For Mobile:

Google actually says ths one the best way, so here it is. Connect your mobile users with the right ad at the right time as they seek information on the go. This feature enables you to easily display relevant text and image ads on your mobile webpages. So, this way if someone is viewing your website through a mobile device – iPhone, BlackBerry, BlueBerry, whatever, you can monetize that.

Ads For…

This is not all, google is working on some very innovative ad products like, Ads for Video, and…drumroll, Ads For Games. Which will be really interesting.

TIP: Take advantage of every ad product, don’t leave anything out, it can really ad up!
