I am here to walk you through, give you tips, guides and resources on what worked for me. There are thousands of ways to make money online, but for this website, we will start a focus on Google AdSense.

First off, what is Google AdSense exactly? Google AdSense is an advertisement application run by Google. Website owners can enroll in this program to enable text, image, and more recently, video advertisements on their websites. These advertisements are administered by Google and generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis. Basically, you host ad’s on your website, which are contextually matched automaticly to the content on your website, and everytime somebody clicks on that advertisement, you get money. I will go into more specific detail on doing so in a future lesson.

There are a few preliminary questions you will need to ask yourself. The first is, are you over the age of 18. That question right there is the only obstacle from making money with Google Adsense. Otherwise, anyone can set up an account. Legally that’s just the way it is. When signing up for Google AdSense, you need to supply a Tax ID number, or Social Security number for Tax reporting purposes. But, unfortunately, right now, you can not enter. Don’t worry, Google AdSense is not the only source of making money online. If you are under the age of 18 check out Other Ways To Make Money Online Other Than Google AdSense.

TIP: If you are under the age of 18, read all you can on Google AdSense. Learn and soak it all in, by the time you are 18, you will be so far ahead of the rest, it will make things that much easier.

The second question is, do you have your own website already? Or are you completely starting from scratch? The good thing is, either scenario will work. Starting from scratch will require a little more work, but is not a problem. Even better, if you want some help setting up a website, you can find some resources here.

Ok. Now that we know the only road-block to getting started with Google AdSense is an age requirement, let’s get started. The next lesson will walk us through setting up an adsense account. This is the door opening step to getting those paychecks on a montly basis.
